YOUTH FELLOWSHIP Middle and High School Youth Fellowship is such an important aspect of faith formation for youth. KGPC has a wonderful youth program that allows for middle and high school students to explore their faith. In general, youth group meets every week for fellowship, fun, and faith formation. Local service projects and summer trips are offered to encourage our youth to grow in their faith and develop Christian leadership skills.  Following Christ is our main goal.

Confirmation is a biannual church education and faith formation program for grades seven and eight. Components of the program include, weekly two hour meetings following the traditional church service, meetings with mentors, completing a workbook, writing a statement of faith, participation in a retreat, individual meetings with the teachers, field trips, and service projects. -Youth Choir –is for youth from grade four and up.  They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
-Youth Bells
– is a handbell choir for 4th through 12th graders.   Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 6:15 p.m.
-Music Team for  Contemporary Worship- Our contemporary worship music team consists of vocalists and instrumentalists playing drums, guitar and other instruments for contemporary Christian music.  Rehearsal times are Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday mornings prior to worship at 8:00 a.m.

Acolytes: This program is for rising sixth graders who participate in lighting and extinguishing the candles on the altar.  Acolytes are selected from willing church youth. Training is provided.
Usher:  Usher teams are formed for each month to assist at both services.  Ushers welcome all to worship and assist in particular parts of worship, such as handing out bulletins,  collection offerings and tending to the sanctuary after worship service.
Greeters: Greeters play a vital role in forming a visitor’s first impression of our church and, to some, their first impression of Jesus Christ. A warm smile and friendly demeanor will go a long way in helping our visitors form a favorable opinion of our church. You can volunteer for a week, a month or longer.

Boy Scout Troop 419 is chartered and sponsored by KGPC. In Scouting, boys start with their best "right now" selves and grow into their very best "future" selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.  If you have a boy between the ages of 11 and 18 who is interested in Scouting, we’re excited to have him visit our troop! Scouts meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 in the church Fellowship Hall.  You don’t have to belong to the church to join.  If you have a Scout or potential Scout who is interested, contact the Scoutmaster:
